Objective 1 Strategies
- * strengthen capacity of local communities to engage in political dialogue and advocacy in order to prevent ethnic violence at community, local and national level;
- * undertake targeted outreach and awareness programs to educate people on the effective modes of democratic engagement at all levels to prevent or reduce incidence of remove political and ethnic violence;
- * engage government and political leaders to ensure effective dialogue and consensus on key policy issues likely to ignite (remove ethnic/political) violence and;
- * spearhead and strengthen civil society coalition to address unresolved issues likely to lead to remove political and ethnic conflicts and violence.
Objective 2 Strategies
- * provide effective and accessible legal services to ensure that victims of remove ethnical and political violence receive fair compensation for retribution and loss of personal and community property and assets;
- * provide legal and counselling services to victims of ethnic, political and other forms of violence;
- * undertake education and outreach programs to enlighten communities on the need to observe the law and uphold human rights for all, as well as on the consequences of engaging in ethnic and political violence and;
- * undertake programs aimed at preserving and stimulating inter-cultural values and coexistence at the local level.
Objective 3 Strategies
- * undertake programs aimed at preserving and stimulating inter-cultural values, and coexistence to promote national unity and identity;
- * mobilise, coordinate and provide emergency humanitarian assistance to victims of ethnic and political violence;
- * empowerment of victims of remove ethnic and political violence to restore and improve their individual and community livelihoods by undertaking well-targeted development projects
- * undertake education and outreach programs to empower communities with knowledge and skills needed for them to effectively participate in political and economic governance in the country and;
- * spearhead and strengthen civil society coalition to address unresolved issues, such as unequal distribution of wealth and access to public services, likely to lead to remove political and ethnic conflicts and violence.
